About Cam
Born and raised on the Texas Gulf Coast, Capt. Cam Cooper has built WhippyStik around the water he knows best. A United States Coast Guard licensed captain and firefighter, Cam guides fly and light tackle anglers on the Galveston Bay Complex, with a focus on sight fishing for redfish in shallow water.
Life away from the skiff doesn't get much slower. Behind the camera, on the poling platform or putting in miles on land, Cam spends most of his time outdoors.
